An anesthesiologist along with a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist(CRNA) will be present continually for your care while you are a patient at the Center. Prior to your procedure, an Anesthesiologist will review your medical history and perform a brief physical assessment. You will be asked about underlying medical conditions, your medical history, and the medications you are taking. Most medications should be taken with a few sips of water upon awakening on the day of your procedure. It is important to inform your anesthesiologist if you have a history of allergic reaction to specific medications. Your previous surgeries, as well as your vital signs will be recorded.

All of this information assists your anesthesiologist in planning and administering the safest anesthetic possible.

Anesthesia at Mohawk Valley Endoscopy Center is provided by CHAG Anesthesia Group, a group of board certified anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.
